Job Overview

We are seeking a Senior Product Manager to lead the vision, strategy, and execution of Relativity's core Search capabilities. This role is pivotal in our transition to a new cloud-native search architecture. You will collaborate with engineering, design, sales, and customer success teams to ensure a seamless transition and deliver enhancements in relevance, performance, and usability.

This role is ideal for a strategic, customer-focused product leader who thrives in complex environments, thinks systemically, and aims to influence how data-driven truth discovery is shaped globally.

Job Responsibilities

Customer Centric

• Engage with external and internal customers to understand Search workflows and needs, validating our approach.
• Communicate with stakeholders including engineering, research, and design to align on product vision.
• Conduct user and competitive research to guide product development.

Product Leadership

• Make data-driven decisions throughout the product lifecycle.
• Utilize telemetry, A/B testing, and cohort analysis to refine the product.
• Lead complex cross-functional projects ensuring coordination across teams.
• Understand and communicate the value of the product suite from business and technical perspectives.
• Monitor and report on key product metrics.
• Facilitate communication, stakeholder alignment, and conflict resolution around product vision.

Technical Fluency

• Work closely with Engineering to ensure product standards for scalability, reliability, and performance.
• Understand cloud architecture to inform product decisions.
• Identify engineering challenges and propose solutions.
• Engage with technical teams to anticipate future impacts on customers and products.

Execution

• Manage deprecation of legacy features with clear communication.
• Break down initiatives into measurable, iterative releases.
• Collaborate early with teams to solve complex problems.
• Create documentation and release notes for go-to-market strategies.

Minimum Qualifications

• 5+ years in product management, building software for large user bases.
• Experience with Search products using Elasticsearch, Lucene, or similar.
• Ability to analyze data, monitor product health, and set goals.
• Strong multitasking and detail orientation.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Understanding of software development lifecycle and agile practices.
• Bachelor's degree in relevant fields or equivalent experience.

Preferred Qualifications

• Strong analytical skills, comfortable with large-scale data and experiments.
• Interest in complex systems and interactions.
• Proven ability to deliver solutions from inception to deployment.
• Familiarity with AI solutions like chatbots, analytics, concept searching.

Relativity offers competitive total compensation including base salary, performance bonuses, and incentives. The salary range for this role is $140,000–$210,000, with final offers based on experience and internal equity.
