Senior Product Manager - Ticket Wallet (YC X25) : Job Details

Ticket Wallet is building the operating system to optimize ticket resale.

We're looking for a Senior Project Manager who can lead product development across our backend systems that will power millions of dollars in ticket transactions every day. This is a rare opportunity to join a fast-moving, venture backed startup working to modernize a legacy industry. You'll be joining a team of elite builders from top universities and companies, backed by Y Combinator & Alexis Ohanian (776 Capital).

What You'll Do

Reliability & performance

Work closely with our backend engineers to define specs, structure the roadmap, and ship reliable, low-latency infrastructure. Take the lead of our top notch developers and make sure we are always executing at maximum efficiency.

Translate business needs and customer feedback into clear product decisions. Everything from discovery and scoping to delivery and iteration.

Technical oversight

You willfunction as the bridge between our technical and business teams. You'll need to be an expert in our backend code / infrastructure and understand the implications of product tradeoffs across our pricing, distribution, and inventory pipelines.

Culture & hiring

Shape the foundational culture of the product organization. Help us hire future PMs and engineers who value speed, ownership, and execution as much as you do.

What You'll Need (Qualifications)

• Bachelor's degree, ideally in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (Physics, Math, Electrical Engineering, etc.)
• 3+ years of Project Management experience at a high-growth startup or fast-paced tech company
• 2+ years working as a Software Engineer. You need to be highly competent in understanding and reviewing code
• Proven success working with backend teams on complex, infrastructure-heavy products
• Strong technical ability and comfort working with engineering leaders
• Extreme levels of trust in yourself and others, including the ability to make decisions in minutes, not days
• High level communication skills and a collaborative, low-ego approach to team building

Bonus Points

• Experience developing in Django or leading Django based projects
• Background in ticketing, e-commerce, or fintech
• Familiarity with pricing algorithms, machine learning, or data pipelines
• A love for sports, live entertainment, or live events more broadly
• Competitive salary and early equity -- $80,000 - $120,000 range
