ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY & THE TEAMThis role is part of our Active Safety User Experience Segment at WindRiver. It is an exciting, high-impact role for a Principal Product Manager with a passion for mission-critical software seeking to impact customers globally.
ResponsibilitiesAs a member of the Edge Product Management team, you will advise on the product's direction in the automotive market, specifically ADAS, IVI, and fusion systems. You will collaborate with the Product Management team working horizontally on VxWorks, Helix Platform, Wind River Linux LTS, and eLxr to ensure technical and business justifications are documented and understood. You will gather input from external customers, sales, market research, fellow product managers, and partners to execute the broad product strategy and drive product truth. You will be the single-threaded leader for the auto market, owning the automotive roadmap and its rationalization, understanding the competitive landscape to ensure revenue growth. You will work closely with Aptiv stakeholders, Product Management, Engineering, and Sales teams.
About youYou are a Principal Product Manager or similar with experience in automotive software, complex platforms, middleware, and associated tools and technologies.
Qualifications & ExperienceMinimal travel required (5%).

CompensationThe annual base salary range is $170,000 to $200,000 plus bonus for Colorado, New York, and New Jersey residents, and $188,000 to $220,000 plus bonus for SF Bay Area, Greater Seattle, NYC, and Washington, DC residents. Salary is determined based on various factors including experience, education, location, and skills. Employees are also eligible for benefits such as health insurance, life insurance, flex time off, 401k, and paid holidays.
