Polymarket is looking for a product-obsessed full-stack engineer to join our product engineering team as it grows. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for design, a deep understanding of modern front-end performance optimization, and a desire to impact a growing engineering organization. You will be involved in the entire product lifecycle, from user discussions and concept development to design, implementation, and iteration, with a high level of ownership and minimal bureaucracy.

• Build user-facing features with efficient, reusable React components.
• Engage with users to understand needs, gather feedback, and incorporate insights into product development.
• Self-direct your work and co-direct the product, defining and architecting the technical direction.
• Collaborate across teams to build, launch, test, and improve features and systems.
• Enhance monitoring & alerting infrastructure to ensure system reliability.
• Ensure security, availability, performance, and scalability of the product.
• Participate in code reviews to maintain code quality.

• 5+ years of professional software development experience
• Strong knowledge of Typescript, Javascript (ES6+), CSS
• Experience with React & NextJS
• Understanding of state management, caching strategies, and libraries like React Hooks/Context, React Query, Zustand, Mobx, or Recoil
• Entrepreneurial mindset and passion for blockchain, decentralized finance, and freedom of speech
• Plus: experience with normalized caching, RSC, data-intensive applications, blockchain/crypto industries, familiarity with wagmi, ethers.js, etc.
• Plus: experience with prediction markets or understanding how they function
• Plus: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent
