Job Overview: Senior Procurement Manager - CAPEX Reporting to Director Global Capex Procurement Full-Time Location; USA (Frisco or Burlington) KDP – a leading producer and distributor of hot and cold beverages – is excited to announce new opportunities in our Global Procurement Team . We are currently looking for an exceptional individual to join our Global CAPEX Sourcing Team, reporting to the Global Procurement Director. As a key member of our organization, you will assume a leadership role in strategic sourcing activities for packaging procurement. Your responsibilities will encompass the development and execution of procurement strategies for several categories, such as packaging and processing equipment and infrastructure. Through your procurement expertise, you will ensure long-term supply, deliver unparalleled quality and service, enhance profitability, foster positive supplier relationships, and contribute to our sustainability programs at KDP. Senior Global CAPEX Procurement Manager accountabilities: Strategic Sourcing Management Support the Development of Global Sourcing Strategy in overall CAPEX Procurement strategy and with key business partners to address and meet business needs with defined plans for cost savings, risk assessment and mitigation. In conjunction with the business key stakeholders, initiate, direct and conduct all activities relating to negotiating, evaluating, selecting, and implementing preferred supplier contracts for identified categories. Conduct industry deep dive analysis to provide proactive insight to long term sourcing strategy. Provide Procurement expertise and assistance to the internal stakeholder teams. Present Category Strategy plans to Senior Management teams and suppliers that effectively communicate both short and long-term tactics. Define and execute best-in-class sourcing and procurement processes using the tools identified by KDP. Negotiate and develop long-term relationships with strategic suppliers. Lead contract negotiation and execution, as well as, contract administration, for an identified pool of contracts. Acquire and be able to communicate market knowledge for the industries in which the vendors participate. Manage the Supplier Performance Management process, including business reviews, for identified CAPEX category. Provide appropriate input to the indirect category team leads, representing the Ireland plant. Ensure long-term supply continuity relations for the manufacturing plants. Lead and drive productivity and cash efforts to support overall procurement goals for KDP. Ensure compliance with Corporate Environmental Sustainability and Regulatory efforts pertaining to sourcing areas: Ethical Sourcing : Guarantee that all suppliers have received and agreed to comply with KDP's Ethical Sourcing Policy. Risk Management : Proactively understand supplier risks and develop business continuity plans for potential unpreventable interruptions in supply. Sustainability : Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support and advance KDP's Drink Well Do Good corporate responsibility agenda, such as transitioning packaging materials to recyclable or compostable options. Work with KDP Ireland's management to support plant operations on a need's basis. Champion the sourcing process within the organization Project Management/Cost Savings Initiatives (change management) Be accountable for achieving financial and value optimization targets. Identify creative value optimization (VO) ideas which drive cost savings initiatives. Create and update project progress plans to reflect necessary activities, savings, cost and timing. Ensures projects are upheld to business standards prior to implementation. Areas addressed include, but not limited to, quality, technical, regulatory and legal compliance, finance reporting, marketing, sales and consumer acceptance, manufacturing and supply chain deployment. Consistently challenges project team on ways to overcome hurdles, meet objectives and deliverables. Lead regular meetings with cross functional project team for adherence to savings deliverables and timing. Relationships/Interpersonal Be able to interact with all levels of the organization, ranging from senior executives through middle management. Be a strong team player with other critical cross functional groups. A collaborative management style with the ability to build partnerships both internally and externally. Have passion to drive continuous improvement. Ability to lead small cross functional teams to drive for shared goals. Requirements: To excel in the role of Senior Global CAPEX Procurement Manager, you will have: Bachelor's Degree (or equivalent experience) required 5-10 years leadership experience in procurement environment with at least three-years of experience with CAPEX equipment Ability to drive performance through KDP Values Experience in leading groups and influencing others to drive results. Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate to a wide variety of internal and external audiences and settings. Experience in supplier identification, development, and qualification Strong analytical and financial skills to support procurement operations and strategies. Demonstrated ability to holistically view the procurement function and process as a part of a much larger process and company. Proven leadership to drive productivity through rapid continuous improvement. Strong and proven work ethic as a self-starter Sense of urgency to drive results and get the job done. Strong focus, prioritization, and self-direction ability Proficiency in navigating multinational organizational matrix environment. Excellent communication skills to effectively engage a wide range of internal and external stakeholders. Strong analytical and financial acumen to support procurement operations and strategies. Proficient in Microsoft Office software Experience with SAP and Ariba preferred.
