Senior Principal Engineer, Engine Test Process (Onsite) - Pratt & Whitney : Job Details

Own DAT test yield reporting for GTF DAT network. Establish an OEM/ MRO Test FPY Council to drive joint problem-solving & share learnings live for implementation network wide. Chair and facilitate Vibe IPT to ensure timely engine specific vibe resolution including tech data corrective actions for additional benefits. Implement process improvements and influence technical data (TD) changes in support of increasing First Pass Yield (FPY). Lead network wide investigations to identify additional process improvements to increase FPY in partnership with our Quality organization. Evaluate and evolve inspection requirements e.g. bench vs. post-test, limited work scope BSI to reduce teardown frequency & work scope. Ensure test readiness for new DATs as they are on-boarded leveraging industrial readiness playbook. Create and maintain accurate testing process standard work leveraging Engine Design & System Integration (EDSI) knowledge & support.
