This is a hybrid position. You will need to live within commuting distance to our Portage, Michigan office. You will be expected to work onsite 3 days per week and may work remotely on the remaining days.
What you will do
Lead the weekly Project Status Reporting (PSR) process for New Product Development (NPD), summarizing key milestones and identifying risks to project timelines
Maintain and enhance Excel-based tools to track R&D project and budget performance and year-over-year trends by project and location
Monitor NPD resource allocation using a resource demand planning tool to ensure alignment with project priorities and forecast future needs
Collaborate with the enterprise PMO to improve resource planning tools and reporting capabilities
Create and update monthly PMO dashboards in PowerPoint to communicate project progress and challenges to leadership
Provide data analysis to support short- and long-term strategic planning initiatives
Communicate effectively with cross-functional teams and leadership, tailoring messaging to diverse audiences
Build and leverage internal networks to enhance data accuracy, reporting quality, and decision-making
What you need
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree with a concentration in management, business, finance, or engineering is preferred
Minimum 2 years of experience translating data using Microsoft Excel
Preferred Qualifications
Experience creating executive-level presentations in Microsoft PowerPoint
Experience working in a Project Management Office (PMO) environment
Experience supporting New Product Development (NPD) teams
Experience in a regulated industry such as medical device, pharmaceutical, or aerospace
Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM) or Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
