Schedule: Tuesday through Saturday, Days
Pay Range: $37.80-48.30/hour, based on level of experience.

Key Responsibilities:
Plans, coordinates, evaluates, and provides comprehensive rehabilitative services in accordance with standards of the APTA and the Physical Therapy Practice Act, NYS Department of Health, and Joint Commission on Accreditation of Health Care Systems.
Primary responsibility is to provide clinical supervision and general day to day supervision of inpatient physical therapists and physical l therapist assistants while in the hospital.
The Sr. Inpatient PT is a recognized expert and source of knowledge in physical rehabilitation and is responsible for the clinical aspects and supervision of the inpatient physical therapy team.
Be administratively proficient with current knowledge of therapy regulations and practice issues as well as clinic operations and management.
Demonstrates skill in exercising a high degree of initiative, judgment, discretion, and decision-making to achieve organizational objectives as they relate to policies, goal and objectives, and costs.
Demonstrates the ability to create a team atmosphere which encourages motivation, innovation, and high performance.
Has the ability to delegate responsibility and authority to the staff.
The Sr. Inpatient Physical Therapist is responsible for working with the Director of Rehabilitation Services and Rehabilitation Leadership in the development and maintenance of the assigned facility's goals, objectives, policies, and procedures.
Oversees direct supervision of inpatient physical therapy staff including performing performance reviews in a timely basis.
Assist Director and rehab leadership with ensuring that all safety [ECO] activities are up-to-date and in accordance with Department of Health and JCAHO.
Requirements
BS degree from an accredited Physical Therapy program, MA or Doctorate preferred.
Current NYS Licensure/Registration in Physical Therapist
Minimum 3 years exp. as a Physical Therapist
Minimum of 1 year supervisory exp. in Physical Therapy or in a Rehab setting preferred.
Ongoing accredited continuing education as required by NYS licensure or certification.
CPR Certification within 3 mo. of employment.
Pay Range: $37.80-48.30/hour
Starting Rate: Based on experience
