Applications owned by this team support client onboarding and management, trade analysis, commission calculation, and financial reporting.The Expertise You HaveBS in Computer Science or Information Systems15 years of experience in application development or software engineeringOracle certificationThe Skills You BringYou will be proficient in traditional database skills and technologies like Linux, Oracle, SQL, PL/SQL, Java, relational design, recoverability, ETL, data modelling, and performance tuning.You will be proficient in providing technical solutions using Python and demonstrable ability to improve existing functionality.You will have strong practical working experience with Unix Shell scripting.You will have experience using development and team tools such as Jira, GIT, Jenkins, and UdeployYou will be familiar with Institutional and Capital Markets products such as prime brokerage, fixed income, and equitiesWithin this space, you will have related experience to trade operations and post trade analysis, profit/loss analysis, customer relationship management, and compliance/supervisory reportingYou will have experience working in Scrum Agile and Agile@Scale product development environmentsYou will be comfortable collaborating with business product owners, end users, and other technology teamsMost importantly, you will be nimble and able to adapt to new technologies and trends.The Value You DeliverListening to product owners to understand the business value they want to deliverAnalyzing and designing the technology solutionsCollaborating with technology teams to implement, test, and demonstrate those solutions in a reliable and scalable mannerDynamic WorkingAt Fidelity TalentSource, our goal is for most people to work flexibly in a way that balances both personal and business needs with time onsite and offsite through what we call “Dynamic Working.” Most associates will have a hybrid schedule with a requirement to work onsite at a Fidelity location for at least one week, 5 consecutive days, every four weeks.
