Senior Network Engineer with Security Clearance - Conviso : Job Details

Title: Senior Network EngineerDuration: full-timeLocation: Seaside, CA 93955 Clearance Requirement: Active Secret ClearanceKey Responsibilities• Securely install, configure, monitor, and maintain enterprise network hardware and software including routers, switches, firewalls, IDS/IPS, COMSEC (TACLANE), EKMS, DNS appliances, wireless infrastructure, and load balancers (e.g., F5).• Utilize tools such as SolarWinds, ClearPass, Palo Alto Firewalls, and AnyConnect for network monitoring and access management.• Conduct disaster recovery operations and system backups as necessary.• Implement robust network security measures and ensure compliance with DoD STIGs.• Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and network performance issues.• Provide full lifecycle support for enterprise network systems.• Participate in an on-call rotation and provide support during weekends as needed.Required Qualifications• Minimum 10 years of hands-on network engineering experience in large enterprise or federal environments.• Strong understanding of DoD security protocols and implementation guidelines (STIGs).• Security+ certification (required).• CCNA or CCNP preferred.• Excellent troubleshooting, problem-solving, and documentation skills.• Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.• Ability to work independently and on-site daily in Seaside, CA.Preferred Qualifications• Associate's degree or higher in a relevant field (preferred but not required).• Experience supporting COMSEC and EKMS systems.• Familiarity with load balancing, wireless networking, and VPN technologies.
