Overview:
Responsible for designing AmTrust's global enterprise network architecture, strategy, technology roadmap, and implementing advanced networking solutions to support business requirements. The Sr. Network Engineer will be driving solutions and methodologies that support world-class standards for Network Services, as well as identifying key targeted areas for improvement.
Responsibilities:
• Engineer/Maintain a complex network to support core, distribution, and access networks, cloud-based production systems, wireless networks, VoIP infrastructure and video communications networks
• Analyze and troubleshoot complex network communications, reported problems, failures and bottlenecks
• Maintain detailed and accurate documentation of all network environments, inclusive of conceptual, logical and physical documentation
• Support networking in global datacenters and network topology for our international company
• Support design and configuration of an enterprise wireless infrastructure
• As needed, research, analyze and recommend new technologies to meet business' needs
• Work closely with network security engineers to support the firewall and VPN infrastructure
• Participate in evaluations and recommendations to select network equipment, services and vendors
• Manage enterprise production cloud infrastructure and inter-connectivity of multi-cloud environments
• Maintain and manage an enterprise-wide complex network infrastructure which includes MPLS, SDWAN, BGP, OSPF, B2B networks, mobile computing, cloud-based production systems, VOIP and call centers
• Work with development teams on new solutions
• Analyze system logs and identify potential issues
• Analyze current processes to drive automation for process improvement
• Participate in on-call rotation and ability to travel on occasion
• Establish and maintain a strong working relationship with all team members
Qualifications
• Experience with enterprise class network management/monitoring systems is desired (Live Action, SolarWinds, Splunk, Out of Band tools, Cisco ISE)
• Experience with configuring, implementing and supporting LAN/WAN technologies including Internet routing, DNS Hosting, Internetworking best practices, and Data Center Networks
• Firm working knowledge of Cisco technologies that include, but are not limited to all major models of IOS and NX-OS based routers/switches (Cisco Nexus (vPC's), Catalyst switches, ASR/ISR)
• Advanced knowledge of routing Protocols including BGP, OSPF, EIGRP
• Experience working with Cisco and/or Arista (or comparable enterprise-class) wireless technologies (Cisco WLC, LWAP's, FlexConnect)
• Comfort level with network data capturing and analysis tools (i.e. Wireshark, tcpdump, Ekahau)
• QoS fundamentals (policy-maps, queue levels and etc.)
• Advanced experience working with EIGRP, OSPF and BGP routing protocols, datacenter architectures – VxLAN/OTV/VDC, and campus LAN/MAN architectures
• Experience with F5 Networks (or similar) load balancing solutions preferred
• CCNP or CCIE certification is preferred

• Excellent oral and written communication skills, including the ability to explain technology solutions in business terms, establish rapport and persuade others
• Experience with Arista hardware, Palo Alto security appliances and/or Zscaler preferred
• Experience with SD-WAN technologies preferred
• Experience with cloud-based solutions (AWS, Azure, Oracle) preferred
• Experience with automation tools (Ansible, Python) preferred

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $120000.00 - $140000.00/yr.
Anthem medical. Average of 20 holidays per year.
