The Amentum Space Exploration Division (ASED) Guidance, Navigation, and Control (GN&C) team is a high performing group executing challenging tasks to design, integrate and evaulate GN&C systems for NASA's Space Launch System (SLS). We are searching for highly qualified candidates to support NASA's Navigation Team in the Guidance, Navigation, & Mission Analysis branch at NASA's Marshall Space Flight Center (MSFC). This exciting work will serve as a critical step in sending humans back to the Moon, Mars and beyond! Job Functions: Create analysis and test plans to assess navigation filter performance. Correlate HWIL test data to 6 DOF simulation model predictions. Build standalone analysis tools to evaluate Block 1 B's navigation system performance. Design and execute captive-carry testing (van or aircraft) for integrated GPS INS performance. Validate navigation sensor model performance with hardware derived data.
