The Corporate Engineering AI team develops AI applications to support the LSEG business. The team has an engineering focus, leveraging a variety of AI/ML techniques to solve business challenges. Our stack includes Kubernetes in AWS, Haystack, Weaviate, and LangChain.

We're looking to add a Senior ML Engineer to help develop our applications. The ideal candidate is a strong Python developer who works well with others and learns quickly. Experience with AI/ML solutions is a plus.

The team develops and maintains three Generative AI products: the Question Answering Service, the AI Assistant, and the Generative AI Services Builder. Details include:

• Question Answering Service: Retrieval Augmented Generation using Haystack, Weaviate, Llama models
• AI Assistant: an agentic solution using LangChain, LangFuse
• Generative AI Services Builder: platform for internal teams

Role Purpose:

• Implement, maintain, and support AI/ML applications

Key Responsibilities:

• Write Python code for AI/ML applications
• Develop and manage data ingestion pipelines
• Research latest AI/ML approaches
• Contribute to solution design
• Develop and manage model release pipelines
• Build relationships with stakeholders to achieve business goals

Requirements:

• Experience in Python software development
• Kubernetes experience

Compensation/Benefits:

The base salary ranges from $141,000 to $235,000, with eligibility for annual incentives. Benefits include wellness allowance, paid time off, medical/dental/vision, 401(k), life insurance, disability benefits, and more.
