Senior Mechanical Engineer - Bechtel Corporation : Job Details

NASA is committed to landing the next humans on the moon and exploring beyond. This mission will help establish a lunar gateway to test and prove the ability to use technology to travel to Mars with the goal of establishing an outpost for lunar expeditions. Bechtel will assist them in achieving this important mission by constructing Mobile Launcher 2 (ML 2). As the selected contractor, Bechtel will design, build, test, and commission ML 2: a ground structure used to support the Space Launch System (SLS) Rocket. Job Summary: This position is for a Senior Mechanical Engineer in the mechanical group associated with the NASA Mobile Launcher 2 project. The successful candidate must have strong organizational and teamwork skills, proven problem-solving abilities, can-do attitude, and a mindset aimed at resolving Construction and Commissioning-related issues in a timely manner.
