Senior Mechanical Engineer - Cornerstone Engineering : Job Details

Job Description: Senior Mechanical EngineerLocation: Bakersfield, CA, 93311

• Seeking candidate with Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• California Professional Engineer License preferred.
• Minimum 10 years of related experience.
• Skilled in fluid mechanics, thermodynamics, heat transfer, piping, pumps, tanks, vessels, and other rotating and static equipment.
• Strong client communication skills will be a high priority, as well as the ability to develop accurate scopes of work and mechanical proposals.
• Project work will involve oil & gas operations, utility sector, carbon management, and heavy industrial projects.
• Perform routine to complex engineering tasks by applying fundamental engineering techniques and analyses, including calculations, specifications, process models, construction parameters, and drawings.
• Work hand in hand with junior engineers and Design-Drafters for project work review and guidance.
• Proficient in Caesar II Pipe Stress Analysis and HYSYS is a plus.
• Regular use of MS Excel, Word, Project, PowerPoint, and Bluebeam.
• Project management skills/experience required for efficient project execution.
• Strong communication skills for client interface and inter-department project coordination.

Annual Salary Range: $120,000-$170,000. Pay range varies dependent on applicable experience, credentials, and software proficiency.
