Senior Mechanical Engineer - Matrix Bartlett Facility : Job Details

We are seeking a talented and experienced Senior Mechanical Engineer to join our dynamic team in Bartlett, IL. • Design and develop mechanical systems and components, ensuring they meet project specifications and industry standards.
• Conduct feasibility studies and cost analysis for new projects and designs.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including electrical engineers, product managers, and manufacturing personnel.
• Perform simulations and tests to validate designs and improve performance.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and interns.
• Prepare detailed documentation, including design specifications, test plans, and reports.
• Stay updated with industry trends and advancements to incorporate best practices into engineering processes.
• Participate in project meetings and communicate progress and challenges to stakeholders.

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in mechanical design and engineering.
• Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD) and simulation tools.
• Strong understanding of mechanical systems, materials, and manufacturing processes.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
• Project management experience is a plus.
• Professional Engineering (PE) license is preferred but not required.
