Responsibilities
- Design and develop mechanical systems and components, ensuring they meet project specifications and industry standards.
- Conduct feasibility studies and cost analysis for new projects and designs.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including electrical engineers, product managers, and manufacturing personnel.
- Perform simulations and tests to validate designs and improve performance.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and interns.
- Prepare detailed documentation, including design specifications, test plans, and reports.
- Stay updated with industry trends and advancements to incorporate best practices into engineering processes.
- Participate in project meetings and communicate progress and challenges to stakeholders.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in mechanical design and engineering.
- Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD) and simulation tools.
- Strong understanding of mechanical systems, materials, and manufacturing processes.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
- Project management experience is a plus.
- Professional Engineering (PE) license is preferred but not required.
