Responsibilities:
Design and Analysis: Support the design of custom fluid packages for jet engine testing, including systems controlling air, fuel, oil, and water. Collaborate with engineers, designers, technicians, and project teams to deliver complete systems meeting customer requirements. Design piping, valving, metering systems, pressure vessels, and select instrumentation and components. Support manufacturing, testing, and system integration.Scope, Schedule, Budget: Support project delivery within planned schedule and budget. Ensure system design aligns with scope, customer requirements, quality standards, and industry codes. Communicate regularly with the project team regarding status and issues.Documentation: Organize documentation per quality standards. Prepare design packages, specifications, reports, and verification plans. Lead internal and external design reviews.Support: Interface with procurement, production, and engineering teams to resolve assembly and testing issues. Work with subcontractors and support site acceptance testing and installations.Quote Development: Assist marketing with proposals by developing concepts, cost and schedule estimates, and recommendations.Preferred Education / Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering or equivalent.
- 7+ years of related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Preferred Knowledge / Skills:
- Experience with design & analysis of fluid systems, including piping, valves, meters, pumps, and instrumentation for pneumatic, hydraulic, fuel, or cooling water systems.
- Experience with pressure drop and flow analysis, preferably using AFT Fathom and AFT Arrow.
- Knowledge of P&ID diagrams, 3D CAD modeling (SolidWorks preferred), structural support design, and structural analysis (ANSYS FEA).
- Strong interpersonal, presentation, and leadership skills. Ability to work independently and in teams. Experience with jet engine testing and pressure vessel design is a plus.

The salary range is USD $110,000 to $140,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
