Estimated annual base salary: $92,800 (minimum)- $116,000 (midpoint)- $139,200 (maximum)

As a Senior Mechanical Engineer in the Aerospace | Commercial Hydraulic Actuation team, you will be a primary contributor to supporting design, development, validation, improvements and/or support, for products, systems, and applications. You will drive design efforts, customer interactions, and other engineering matters, such as structured problem solving.

What you will be doing…

  • Plans, schedules, and coordinates detailed project phases.

  • Develops innovative solutions to encountered problems.

  • Promotes and participates in process improvements.

  • Performs conventional engineering work with complex features like conflicting design requirements and difficult coordination.

  • Provides sales and development support via proposals and design reviews.

  • Troubleshoots, analyzes, and tests components/systems independently.

  • Guides junior engineers and sets technical direction for projects.

  • May perform design proposals, 2D/3D drafting, BOM creation, and drawing management at international locations.

What we are looking for…

Education:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Arts/Sciences (BA/BS)

Experience:

  • Requires over 4 years of experience in a related field or an entry-level PhD degree.

  • Demonstrates effective written and verbal communication, including technical writing, reports, and presentations.

  • Possesses strong problem-solving skills and proficiency in PCs, software, SAP applications, and engineering tools (e.g., PLC, FEA, DFSS).

  • Operates well in team environments, communicates with customers, and provides leadership to technicians and designers as needed.

  • Applies knowledge of standards, manufacturing processes, and design/testing requirements while managing time effectively and guiding junior engineers.
