Senior Mechanical Design Engineer - Eaton Corporation, plc : Job Details

The Senior Mechanical Design Engineers work in a dynamic, fast paced environment and are responsible for successful execution of research, design, development, testing and certification activities. Including: - Coordinate and execute product design activities in accordance with project cost and schedule constraints. - Develop conceptual designs into a mature product solution. - Manage technical risk through exhaustive identification, prioritization of risk mitigation activities, and data driven design changes where appropriate. - Develop engineering standards and design guides to support continuous improvement of the relevant engineering domain. - Work to Design for Six Sigma (DFSS) principles including careful management of Critical to Quality requirements through the design lifecycle, rigorous knowledge building of the design space, understanding of the effects of manufacturing variation, and design for manufacturing and assembly to meet product recurring cost targets. - Work directl...Design Engineer, Mechanical, Mechanic, Design, Manufacturing Engineer, Senior, Technology
