Senior Marketing Manager - Walsworth LLP : Job Details

Walsworth LLP is a 120+ member law firm with offices in Orange County, Los Angeles, San Diego, and San Francisco.We handle and litigate large scale, complex matters in several states and internationally, including serving as national trial counsel.

Weare currently in search of a an experienced Sr. Marketing Manager to develop, implement, and manage a portfolio of marketing and business development improvement initiatives, including definition of objectives, timeline, and determination of resourcing in consultation with Firm leadership.

The ideal candidate is an experienced and innovative marketing leader with a proven background of successfully developing and implementing programs for law firms.We expect our Sr. Marketing Manager to have a deep bench of resources and contacts to effectively execute business development efforts.Our ideal candidate will also have the leadership and persuasive skills to guide our attorneys in creative ways to develop new business and grow relationships with existing clients. This position has the opportunity to be 100% remote for the candidate with strong organization and efficiency skills.Qualified applicants must reside in California, Illinois, Tennessee, or South Carolina.

Duties include, but are not limited to:

• Develop, implement, and track business development strategies for the Firm and for specific practice groups.
• Conduct industry, client, and market research for potential growth opportunities.
• Identify areas of opportunity for publicity and press; provide support for profile-raising activities .
• Lead regular practice group and one-on-one attorney meetings to communicate initiatives, provide guidance and follow-up.
• Lead the Firm's pitches, proposals, and responses to RFPs, and related follow-up.
• Assist attorneys with editing and placing bylined articles in key legal, trade, and business publications.
• Manage and track successes of Firm sponsorships and client event strategies.
• Increase brand awareness and profile.Drive activities such as social media, sponsored events, in-house presentations, professional speaking opportunities, and media interviews.
• Oversee Marketing Coordinator.
• Other related duties as assigned.

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

• Knowledge of the legal industry.
• Strong analytical and communication skills.
• Demonstrated professionalism and ability to work well with attorneys and staff at all levels
• Ability to lead meetings and hold attendees accountable.
• Proven track record in delivering competing projects to successful completion.
• Maintain strict confidentiality with firm and client financial data.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, familiarity with CRM and DMS applications.
• Ability to work successfully from a remote location.
• Bachelor's Degree required

This is a full-time position with a pay range of $150,000 - $180,000 a year and represents Walsworth's reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of this posting. Actual compensation may vary depending on several factors, including but not limited to, a candidate's relevant experience, and qualifications.
