Senior Marine Engineer - HYBRID with Security Clearance - American Systems Corporation : Job Details

Responsibilities As a Senior Marine Engineer you will have the opportunity to do the following:* Perform design reviews, evaluate constructability, help resolve technical issues, and manage information generated through the design and construction phases of multiple and concurrent projects.* Design, develop and evaluate operation of shipboard HVAC & Refrigeration systems.* Conduct HVAC&R trade studies, reviews and provide comments on new US Coast Guard acquisition cutter and boat HVAC&R system designs.* Lead engineers in development efforts, reviews of technical data packages.* Provide engineering support in the analysis of all HVAC&R related technical issues and design challenges.* Support the US Coast Guard reviewing third party design modifications and improvements.* Conduct ship visits.* Develop Engineering Changes of HVAC&R systems.* Conduct mechanical engineering & psychrometric analysis.* Research advanced engineering designs and/or applications.* Prepare technical reports. Qualifications * Bachelor's Degree in Engineering* Ability to obtain a secret clearance* U.S. Citizenship Required for the purposes of obtaining/holding a U.S. security clearance * At least 5+ years of experience in design, development, installation and operation of shipboard HVAC and/or Refrigeration systems and related equipment. Pay Transparency Statement AMERICAN SYSTEMS is committed to pay transparency for our applicants and employee-owners. The salary range for this position is USD $91,600.00/Yr. - USD $153,000.00/Yr. Actual compensation will be determined based on several factors permitted by law.
