Senior Manufacturing Accounting Analyst - Wegmans Food Markets : Job Details

Partner with manufacturing leadership and operations to field questions, review issues, share successes, and ensure each group has the tools to be successful. Work closely with manufacturing teams to monitor costs to produce, and cost reduction opportunities; enable management to make effective production decisions. Analyze weekly projections and complete month end closing for P&L; prepare monthly operating report with cost trends. Identify improvement areas to reduce costs and increase profitability; provide proactive recommendations. Provide accounting support for priority projects; communicate project status/challenges and recommend solutions to management. Required Qualifications:Bachelors degree in accounting or finance. Strong systems aptitude 3 or more years experience with analyzing financial data and making recommendation based on interpretations and research. Proficient Microsoft Excel skills.
