Base pay range

$135,000.00/yr - $170,000.00/yr

Our client, a disruptive company that transformed the way women shop, is seeking a Senior Manager of Tax to lead its global tax function. The ideal candidate will ensure compliance, manage risk, and optimize the company's effective tax rate. This strategic, hybrid role is based in Brooklyn, NY, and oversees all aspects of U.S. federal, state, and local tax compliance, international tax matters, and income tax provisions.Job Function

• Oversee the preparation and review of ASC 740 income tax provisions for quarterly and annual financial reporting.
• Ensure accuracy and completeness of tax footnotes and disclosures in compliance with U.S. GAAP.
• Manage preparation, review, and timely filing of federal, state, and local income/franchise tax returns.
• Oversee state and local tax audits, notices, and controversy matters.
• Ensure compliance with sales/use tax, property tax, and business licenses.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA and/or Master's in Taxation strongly preferred.
• 8 years of progressive tax experience, including at least 3 years in a leadership role.
• Strong technical knowledge of ASC 740, U.S. federal tax, SALT, and VAT/indirect tax.
• Experience in a multinational corporation or public accounting firm.
