  • Subject matter expert with knowledge of job area and in-depth knowledge of project management, with the ability to lead all aspects of the Supply Chain acquisition process from proposal stage through Program award and execution.
  • Analysis of markets and strategic sourcing to align with business goals.
  • Responsible for managing Business Unit cost, schedule, and technical performance, ensuring L3Harris and Customer objectives are achieved, including on-time delivery, quality, and affordability, with the ability to monitor & assess project issues and develop resolutions.
  • Determines feasibility of material, components, specifications or requirements and supports product development activities, including proposal support and engineering change impacts to supply chain.
  • Strong understanding of baseline-centric execution and Change Management; review status of projects, budgets, forecasts, EVMS; prepare status reports.
  • Develops, maintains, and manages strategic relationships with suppliers to achieve Program, Customer, and Corporate goals for sales, orders, and profit.
  • Manages cross-functional relationships to integrate the supply chain team into program development and execution.
  • Leads, motivates, and develops a diverse team of Supply Chain Professionals at varying levels of experience.
  • Develops, drives, and executes supply chain transformation and improvement projects. Uses hands-on, cross-functional approaches to identify pain points and drive improvements. Has the passion, business, and technical acumen to drive best-in-class processes and efficiencies.
  • Responsible for staffing, recruiting, training, talent development, engagement, & retention of employees.
  • Negotiates contracts including Subcontracts, Letter Subcontracts, Teaming Agreements, NDAs, and Sole Source Agreements.
  • Establishes & manages major contractual milestones, analyzes supplier capacity, and adjusts material flow for inventory optimization.
  • Develops and implements solutions to complex problems, identifies supplier performance improvement and cost reduction opportunities.
  • Initiates corrective actions when necessary.
  • Provides timely and accurate Supply Chain status updates to management and external customers.
Essential Functions:
  • Motivated self-starter with expertise in Supply Chain Process Flow and managing Business Unit performance.
  • Experience managing complex subcontracts, including hardware, software, and services.
  • Effective communication across professional levels and functions.
  • Leads and reviews work of direct reports to maintain workflow and productivity.
  • Effective leadership in a fast-paced, changing environment with a team mentality.
  • Contributes to talent and performance management decisions.
  • Manages budgets and supports variance analysis.
  • Navigates FAR/DFARS regulations and ensures compliance.
  • Supports Small Business initiatives.
  • Prepares spending plans, payment forecasts, and variance reports.
  • Follows strategic directions from Program and functional leadership.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree with at least 12 years of related experience, or Graduate Degree with at least 10 years, or 16 years without a degree.
Preferred Additional Skills:
  • TS/SCI and/or DoD Secret clearance preferred.
  • Experience with FFP, FPIF, T&M, Labor Hour, Cost-Plus contracts.
  • Experience managing budgets and sales forecasting.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Lean Six Sigma experience.
  • Previous leadership experience.
