Position Summary

The Senior Manager, Surety of Supply supports efforts to reinvent partnerships and collaborative work to drive surety over longer periods. This role develops capabilities and aligns cross-functionally to advance the Surety agenda. We seek entrepreneurial, collaborative problem solvers who enjoy cross-functional work and driving change. Reporting to the Director of Grocery Surety of Supply, this position is based in Bentonville, Arkansas.

The team accelerates and scales Walmart's supply resilience efforts for key categories, collaborating across food, consumables, private brands, sustainability, technology, manufacturing, and more.

What you'll do
  • Partner with Sourcing Managers and Merchants to accelerate Supply Strategy, including strategic planning, project management, agreement development, coordination, and resource requests.
  • Analyze complex data, build reports, presentations, and tracking tools to communicate initiatives and progress.
  • Manage project-based work independently with initiative and follow-through.
  • Demonstrate inclusive leadership to enhance belonging within the organization.
What you'll bring
  • Excellent strategy, project management, and communication skills.
  • Proven initiative, ownership, and thought leadership in complex settings.
  • Experience leading cross-functional projects and influencing change.
  • Experience developing complex business cases for executive communication.
  • 4+ years in retail, corporate development, strategy, investment banking, consulting, or CPG.
  • MBA or Master's in economics, trade, agriculture, sustainability, or similar fields.

Minimum Qualifications

Option 1: Bachelor's in business, mathematics, engineering, or related field, plus 2 years' experience in merchandising, sourcing, planning, finance, or related area.

Option 2: 6 years' experience in merchandising, sourcing, planning, finance, or related area.
