Job Description

This role is hybrid. 3 days a week on-site at any local UL Solutions office.

Analyze industries, global markets, and competitive intelligence to identify opportunities for our ULTRUS platform and Software products. Responsible for defining strategies and tactics to win based on a deep understanding of our solutions, current and potential customers, and the competitive landscape. Provide strategic direction on go-to-market strategies, including tools for sellers to differentiate our value proposition with target customers. Serve as the expert on ULTRUS strategy, providing input on product roadmaps, sales strategies, and tactics to maintain market leadership.

Responsibilities

• Leverage deep product and industry knowledge to define market opportunities for Software products and the ULTRUS platform. Categorize solutions for promotion, including messaging, target buyers, and routes to market.
• Monitor industry trends and adjust strategies accordingly. Conduct competitive analysis to identify growth opportunities and risks.
• Create messaging and positioning that identify ideal buying personas and customer pain points, aligned with value propositions.
• Define Go-to-Market strategies, including launching new ULTRUS modules with clear goals and target audiences.
• Ensure marketing content equips sales teams with effective tools like 'Hunting Packages,' displacement guides, and sales presentations.
• Conduct market research to identify new opportunities and inform product and sales strategies.
• Create master messaging and value propositions to drive product awareness and growth across segments.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in marketing, including 5+ years in marketing software solutions.
• 4+ years in product marketing.
• Strong strategic, competitive analysis, and communication skills.
• Experience in collaboration, project management, and business acumen.
• Proficiency in sales enablement and process improvement.

Preferred Skills

• Sustainability or Product Stewardship software marketing experience.
• Digital marketing expertise and understanding of AI.
• Ability to translate complex technical information for non-scientific audiences.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and internal communication tools.

Additional Information

The salary range is estimated at $100,000 to $140,000, with potential bonuses and comprehensive benefits including health, wellness, retirement, and paid time off.
