Senior Manager/Principal Engineer - Energy Transition (MS/PhD)

Salary Range: USD $176,000 - USD $260,000 per year

Our Opportunity

We seek a Senior Managing Engineer or Principal Engineer in Energy Transition within our Thermal Sciences Practice in locations including Natick MA, Menlo Park CA, Atlanta GA, Houston TX, Chicago IL, Bowie MD, Denver CO, or Phoenix AZ. You will work on challenging, high-profile projects related to renewable energy, energy storage, and energy transition, with increasing project management and client relations responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Providing consulting and business development in systems related to wind, solar, hydrogen, alternative fuels, energy storage, transmission, and power plants.
• Gathering and synthesizing technical information and communicating conclusions effectively.
• Promoting expertise in renewable energy via client meetings, conferences, publications, and seminars.
• Managing and mentoring junior consultants.

Qualifications

• M.S. or Ph.D. in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering
• 10+ years of relevant experience
• PE license preferred
• Strong business development and leadership skills
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to travel on short notice
