The individual selected for this role will oversee equipment servicing operations across all service locations. You will drive the implementation of a comprehensive vision and roadmap to establish the business as a reliable and profitable provider of equipment maintenance and repair services. This involves creating a strategic plan and budget to transition us into offering robust product servicing capabilities ahead of our competition.
In this role, you will:
- Execute strategic plans including tractors, implements, mowers, ATVs, etc., plus all related parts and accessories.
- Evaluate staffing, tools, facilities, systems, processes, and customer satisfaction.
- Prepare and submit annual budgets.
- Partner with the learning and development team to create a curriculum for the service technicians to become proficient in maintaining and repairing products.
- Work with the director of sales and service to develop and launch an extended warranty program that boosts sales and profitability.
- Partner with facilities, marketing, and technology to enhance onsite servicing capabilities and marketing strategies.
Qualifications:
- At least 5 years of parts and service experience or equivalent combination of experience and education.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
- Proven experience in effectively supervising and leading a diverse team, guiding them toward achieving department goals and objectives.
- Strong orientation toward process-driven approaches, demonstrated through previous experience an accomplishment.
- Experience in coordinating and managing complex projects, ensuring smooth workflow and efficient resources to complete a project on time.
- Excellent verbal and written interpersonal and communication skills.
- Excellent customer service skills.
Physical requirements:
- Ability to maintain a seated or standing position for extended durations.
- Ability to lift, push, and/or pull a minimum of 30 pounds repetitively and 31-50 pounds intermittently.
- Ability to navigate and access all facilities.
- Skill to effectively communicate verbally with others, both in-person and via electronic devices.
- Close vision for computer-related activities.
