L+M Development Partners LLC (LMDP), an established residential developer/builder/manager, has an exciting opportunity for a Senior Community Affairs Manager to ensure that community engagement is a focal point during a project's life cycle and properly integrated across the company's portfolio. The Senior Community Affairs Manager will be working on various affordable housing projects in Brooklyn to help build, strengthen and maintain partnerships with current tenant, community, political, and service-based groups within this specific community. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter, able to work well as a member of an integrated team, but also capable of working independently with limited oversight, and possess the ability to build key internal and external relationships. Additionally, he or she will possess a sound understanding of complex systems and structures that promote social and economic equity, but also have a strong enthusiasm to support communities thriving for parity and inclusion.
