Overview

This is a remote role that may be hired in several markets across the United States.

This position manages technical resources and teams within Technology, specifically the Core Banking/Deposit team, with the ability to manage other managers. Partners with peers and senior leadership to identify and align IT strategies with the company's goals. Oversees the design, implementation, and support of systems and applications. Oversees projects to produce effective results. Manages budget, including forecasting. Ensures short-term results lead to long-term objectives.

Responsibilities

• IT Strategy - collaborate with senior leadership and stakeholders to understand business needs. Partners with senior management to develop and implement IT strategies aligned with the company's goals and objectives.
• Project and Product Management Oversight - Identify future needs and trends. Provide direction and oversight to IT projects and products. Assign project tasks, drive project schedules, manage product releases, and communicate results or updates to relevant parties.
• Managerial Functions - Establish and monitor expectations to achieve company and department goals. Make appropriate changes to IT policies, standards, procedures, and efficiencies to meet objectives. Manage performance, training, and evaluation of staff. Promote professional development. Prioritize and allocate resources to meet bank needs.
• Technical Expertise - Serve as a technical expert and strategic leader to senior management, staff, and business units. Ensure compliance with configuration, change controls, and security standards. Participate in business meetings and special projects to provide insights on end-user needs. Stay informed of industry trends. Hold vendors accountable for system updates and maintenance.

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree and 8 years of experience in applications development, analysis, or engineering OR High School Diploma or GED and 12 years of experience in applications development, analysis, or engineering.

Preferred Skills

• Experience working in a financial institution, preferably a large one.
• Experience with deposit systems, e.g., Hogan.
• Experience leading teams/technical resources.

The base pay ranges from $116,000 to $180,000, with actual starting pay based on skills, experience, location, and other factors. Total compensation may include incentives, bonuses, benefits, and other awards.
