Senior Manager, Global Procurement IT - Regeneron : Job Details

We are currently looking for a Senior Manager, Global Procurement IT to take accountability and support the definition and implementation of IT Software Category strategy to serve global and regional business needs. This person will work closely with stakeholders to lead discussions related to the IT Software Category and aligns category priorities with procurement management and team members. In this role you will manage negotiations, supplier management activities, and stakeholder engagement activities for IT Software Category and will act as a primary point of contact for stakeholders, key suppliers as a leader and SME on IT Software category.

A typical day might include the following:

• Takes direction to drive value in terms of cost savings, cash flow improvement, and other efficiency savings from category management activities.
• Represents Global Procurement by participating in organizational decisions in IT Software category with critical short and long-term impact on the success, efficiency, growth, and results of Global Procurement.
• Demonstrates knowledge of efficient global procurement organizations and processes within the biopharmaceutical industry to support the growth and evolution of the Global Procurement organization and leverages this knowledge to drive improvements within Regeneron, aligned with corporate priorities.
• Leads category activities to ensure compliance with appropriate GxPs and other applicable regulations, as applicable.
• Negotiates contract terms and conditions in consultation with Law department aligned with Regeneron's priorities and business requirements.
• May, either directly or through a matrix structure, develop team of professional level employees responsible for performing category management tasks.
• May provide coaching and mentorship on job performance and career development to direct reports and provides leadership examples for the organization.
• Uses data to drive decision-making for successful category projects.
• Coaches proficiency on procurement technical skills among global procurement

• Have strong experience successfully managing category processes, and suppliers
• Have experience successfully managing category processes, and suppliers across a breadth of categories
• Can build relationships with stakeholders and suppliers to drive results for Regeneron.
• Can provide insight and knowledge regarding rates, unit costs, and costing structures to enable optimal negotiations.
• Can use external data sources, market information, and supplier engagement to constantly improve Regeneron's knowledge of supply market dynamics.
• Demonstrated success supporting global supply market evaluation processes using all available market intelligence, risk, compliance, and financial assessment tools.
• Can support the primary relationship manager with key supplier relationship management activities.
• Have solid understanding with sourcing contracting tools, ERP's, and eRFx systems

To be considered for this role, you must possess a bachelor's degree in a relevant field of study plus relevant, progressive experience in procurement with 8+ years meaningful IT procurement experience. Experience in Pharma/BioPharma preferred.

This role requires working onsite a minimum of 4 days per week.

Salary Range (annually) $132,400.00 - $216,000.00
