Follow @abbvie on X , Facebook , Instagram , YouTube , LinkedIn and Tik Tok .Job DescriptionPurposeThe Senior Manager, EP coordinates with multiple stakeholders such as Executive Administrative Assistants, Event Planners, Executive Drivers, Aviation, and other Executive Protection Agents to ensure onsite personnel safety. Actively participates as an EP agent performing respective duties.ResponsibilitiesManage a team of protection agents, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure optimal performance.Leadlogistics coordination of resources and personnel efficiently to maintain a high standard of security operations.Provide training and guidance on personal security and awareness for the protected individuals.Oversee comprehensive risk assessments and develop mitigation plans to minimize exposure to threats.Evaluate the effectiveness of existing security measures and recommend improvements.Travelto support security operations before/during/after designated special events and EP assignments and is available for after-hours security response as needed.Serveas a liaison with AbbVie C-Suite administrative support, internal and external private sector counterparts, law enforcement officials and government partners.Fulfillall the duties of an EP Agent including coordination or risk assessments, implementation of security plans and protocols, security agencies coordination, executive travel, monitoring activities, rapid response, security equipment maintenance and background checks.QualificationsBachelor's degree in an area of study relevant to the position or equivalent is preferred. 8 years of experience- at least 2 years leading projects or guiding teamsPrior experience leading or guiding a team.Law Enforcement Officer's Safety Act (LEOSA), Concealed Carry License, Legal authorization, or other authorizationsto carry a firearm required.Strong observational and analytical skills to assess threats and risks effectively.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for liaising with clients and security personnel.Ability to work independently and remain calm under pressure in high-stress situations.Flexibility to work varying hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays, as required.Valid driver's license and clean driving record.Certification in first aid and self-defense techniques is desirable.Additional InformationApplicable only to applicants applying to a position in any location with pay disclosure requirements under state orlocal law:The compensation range described below is the range of possible base pay compensation that the Companybelieves ingood faith it will pay for this role at the timeof this posting based on the job grade for this position.Individualcompensation paid within this range will depend on many factors including geographic location, andwemay ultimatelypay more or less than the posted range.
