This position is eligible for telework and is currently available one day per week. New hires are eligible to apply 30 days after their effective date of hire.

• Reports To: Assistant Director, Contracting Services
• Location: 2 Broadway
• Hours: 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM or as required (7.5 HR/day)
• Salary Range: $103,523 to $140,942

• Draft, edit, and contribute to reports for agency executives and senior staff regarding the MTA's Capital Program.
• Ensure proper documentation of contract files to promote departmental efficiency.
• Assist in vendor responsibility checks, background checks, and DDCR coordination.
• Manage MWBE vendor utilization to increase diversity and ensure policy compliance.
• Support vendor award processes, ensuring legal and policy adherence.
• Contribute to procurement management, including the development of IT resources and database systems.

• Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Public Administration, Engineering, Finance, Law, or related fields.
• Minimum of six (6) years of relevant experience.
• At least two (2) years in contract/procurement management or supervisory roles.
• Knowledge of public sector procurement, construction projects, and related laws.
• Strong interpersonal, analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and document management software.
