Senior Manager, Commercial Finance

Finance commercial business partner of Maybelline and Essie and key member of the organization with full ownership and management of gross to net (P&L and balance sheet), providing critical financial insight and ensuring robust financial planning and analysis for our commercial operations. This role is crucial in the brand's S&OP process with leading the valorization for the brands and playing a key role in assessing forecast assumptions. The Senior Manager will be a key business partner collaborating extensively across sales, marketing, supply chain, and brand finance teams to optimize financial performance and support strategic decision making. You will be required to work across various financial systems, including Compass, SAP, and APEX.

Influence across finance and business leadership team through providing insightful financial analysis, actionable recommendations, and challenging assumptions.

Creation and coordination of all commercial budgets/trends/3-year plans, including presenting to senior management. Partner with cross functional teams to develop and deliver valorization objectives including gross to net value P&L creation and RGM opportunities.

Weekly communication to leadership team of latest sales forecast with commentary of changes.

Sales performance and profitability analysis across all retailers to identify trends, opportunity for improvement, and inform strategic decisions.

Closely monitor and communicate risks and opportunities.

Play a pivotal role in the brand S&OP process including demand review and consensus while identifying and analyzing SISO (sell in/sell out/inventory) construction, gaps and challenging forecast assumptions and accuracy.

Reconcile forecast valorization gaps.

Liaise with cross functional teams (sales, brand activation, demand planning, accounting, account controllers, divisional finance).

Ensure financial compliance and accurate reporting.

Lead ad-hoc financial strategic projects.

Required Qualifications:

Minimum 6-8 years of experience in finance or accounting.

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economy, Business Administration or Accounting.

Must possess strong analytical, problem-solving, and proactive skills coupled with strong business acumen, leadership, oral and written communication and presentation skills, and excellent interpersonal skills.

Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

Ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced work environment.

Must have the ability to interact with all levels of management.

Strong computer skills required; must have expert-level experience with Excel, Word, and Power Point.

Preferred Qualifications:

MBA/CPA preferred.

Consumer products industry experience.

Financial reporting experience and use of SAP or similar systems highly desirable.

Power BI and visualization dashboards a plus.

Data analytics skills as a plus.

Additional Benefits Information As Follows:

Salary Range: $117,400 - $167,300 (The actual compensation will depend on a variety of job-related factors which may include geographic location, work experience, education, and skill level).
