The Sr. Manager Business Analytics role is responsible for analyzing complex data sets to deliver insights that support business decisions and strategies. This role requires strong analytical skills, an aptitude for data and insights translation, and the ability to work across different functional stakeholders. The ideal candidate will have experience in data visualization, statistical analysis, and problem-solving, coupled with the ability to communicate findings clearly to stakeholders. The role involves engaging with key stakeholders across sales, marketing, insights, business intelligence, DDS, Zoetis Tech and Digital organizations, and other functions.

The successful candidate will demonstrate a curiosity to understand the Zoetis business model and data infrastructure, translating business needs into technical solutions. The position requires a self-motivated, detail-oriented individual with strong problem-solving skills, capable of leading technical teams and adapting to changing priorities.

There are 5 positions: two will lead Brand analytics, one will lead Independent Petcare, one will lead Corporate & Specialty, and one will lead Enabling Functions.

Key Responsibilities

Analytics and Insight Generation

• Gather, clean, and organize large datasets from various sources.
• Identify patterns, correlations, and trends within datasets.
• Translate insights into actionable recommendations aligned with business objectives.
• Design tools to track performance across marketing, sales, and retail.

Model Development and Optimization

• Build analytics to derive strategic insights for decision-making.
• Develop, test, and validate predictive models.
• Implement and monitor machine learning models in production.
• Partner with Data Governance to enhance data quality and operational efficiency.

Stakeholder Engagement

• Collaborate with senior leaders to identify growth opportunities and support data-driven strategies.
• Communicate insights effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences.

Education and Experience

• Advanced degree in business analytics, computer science, or engineering.
• 7+ years in analytical roles supporting senior decision-makers, with experience in Commercial Analytics, Business Intelligence, or related areas.
• Proven experience in building analytics platforms (e.g., Tableau, PowerBI) especially in sales and marketing.
• Strong communication, project management, and team management skills.
• Experience managing diverse and international teams.

Technical Skills Requirements

• Proficiency in building dashboards in Tableau or PowerBI.
• Experience with analytics methods such as statistics, segmentation, and time series analysis.
• Familiarity with tools like SQL, Alteryx, Python, or R.
• Experience in applied analytics for business problems like pricing, loyalty, segmentation, and churn prevention.

Physical Position Requirement:

• Based in Parsippany, NJ
• Office-based role
• Travel approx. 10%
