We operate in Canada as Engineered Lifting Systems and Equipment (ELS)/DBA Gorbel® Canada, and subsequent communication related to Canadian positions may show the ELS name. Work Shift: Job Description: The Senior Logistics Analyst provides strategic/tactical leadership of given commodity(ies) and develops/implements commodity strategies aligned with the company's quality, delivery, cost and innovation goals. RESPONSIBILITIES: • Organizes shipment and delivery of goods worldwide in a timely, professional, and cost-effective manner. • Utilize data to ensure supply partners use the best combination of cost, service and quality to meet customer requirements • Must be able to inform, convince and persuade others to action on key commodity strategy initiatives/objectives • Champion functional initiatives and/or project(s) and where appropriate provide coaching, mentoring and support to team members • Develop new, support existing and execute functional strategies based upon key market trends • Manage new and existing suppliers through formal supplier assessments, providing regular supplier key performance indicator scorecard feedback, and corrective actions as needed resulting in win-win outcomes • Drive improvements leading, training others and utilizing new and existing continuous improvement tools, principles and processes • Achieve excellent results in annual cost, delivery, quality and innovation improvement projects and process improvements utilizing data analytics based on Key Performance Indicators (KPI) results • Negotiate and implement Master Service Agreements (MSA's) • Performs other related duties and various special projects as required and assigned REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: • College Degree and/or 5+ years of Supply Chain/Operations experience in a manufacturing environment • High degree of business ethics and accountability • Experienced with and led the application of continuous improvement (e.g., lean tools and principles) to drive results • Strong business and financial acumen • Proficient in Microsoft Office Products (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, etc.) • Proficient with ERP systems • Effective in both written and verbal communications • Able to travel up to 20% of the time WORK ENVIRONMENT: ADA Physical/Mental/Workplace Requirements • Occasional lifting up to 25 lbs. • Sitting, working at desk/personal computer for extended periods of time • Primary work environment is professional corporate Gorbel® is an Equal Opportunity Employer that does not discriminate on the basis of actual or perceived race, creed, color, religion, alienage or national origin, ancestry, citizenship status, age, disability or handicap, gender, marital status, veteran status, sexual orientation, genetic information, arrest record, or any other characteristic protected by applicable federal, state or local laws. The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. At Gorbel, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case.
