Our Maintenance Directors are responsible for:

• Performing general maintenance projects including plumbing, electrical, fire and sprinkler systems, HVAC, landscape, carpentry, painting, and equipment repairs.
• Ensuring walls, floors, doors, windows, furniture, and woodwork in common areas are maintained and repaired.
• Repairing vacated rooms promptly, including painting and carpet cleaning.
• Handling all in-house plumbing and minor electrical work.
• Painting apartments and common areas.
• Maintaining carpets, floor coverings, and furniture.
• Completing work orders timely and documenting safety and physical plan issues per guidelines.
• Performing preventative maintenance and inspecting community equipment.
• Conducting safety drills and responding to emergencies.
• Maintaining emergency systems and supporting safety training.
• Supporting the training and support of staff.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• H.S. Diploma or equivalent, at least 18 years old.
• 1-3 years related experience or training, or equivalent education and experience.
• Ability to manage vendors and maintenance projects.
• Knowledge of building maintenance, electrical, mechanical, plumbing, and HVAC systems.
• HVAC Certification preferred.
• Supervisory or managerial experience preferred.
• Senior living maintenance experience preferred.

Physical Requirements:

This role involves frequent standing, walking, lifting (up to 90 lbs), pushing/pulling, and other physical activities. Reasonable accommodations may be made for individuals with disabilities.
