SENIOR LEVEL GRAPHIC DESIGNER (Midtown East)

Established New York Design & Packaging Company is searching for a highly motivated, enthusiastic Graphic Designer. The Graphic Designer will assist the Sales and Marketing teams, completing design for a wide range of High End Luxury Clients.

JOB TITLE: GRAPHIC DESIGNER with Experience of PRINTING and PRODUCTION EXPERIENCE. A big plus knowing as much as possible for Production of all Design applications as well as Printing Guidelines to follow for Perfect Results.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Designing Artwork for Custom Designs for Clients.
  • Taking Customer's Designs and requests and implementing them into pre-set templates for print.
  • Saving Production files for Printing of all packaging Products.
  • Creating New graphics and designs for New Products.
  • Social Media, Including Ads, Marketing collateral.
  • Production of a variety of print ads, email blasts, marketing collateral, internal documentation, print/web.

    • Must be able to work independently on assignments in a deadline-sensitive environment, as well as collaboratively with other staff and be a team player. Looking for someone with Teaching experience and the ability to update to the latest applications of software and new techniques.

    QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design and 3-5+ years design experience in packaging or retail design.
  • Teaching Degree or Certificate in Teaching Design/Production and Printing Skills.
  • Sketching and illustration skills required.
  • Sophisticated sense of typography, applied color, composition, and visual hierarchy required.
  • Previous experience with still digital photography, styling, and lighting.
  • Project Management skills/ Teaching and Mentoring.
  • Expert knowledge of all relevant Adobe Creative Suite programs (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, Dreamweaver, Acrobat). Flash knowledge a big plus.
