The ideal candidate will have the ability to carry out assigned tasks with limited supervision, work well in a fast, agile, and fluid environment, and possess strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. EXPERTISE in .NET CORE, A MUST!As the Senior Lead .Net Developer, you will work to architect and develop features based on business stakeholder requirements, provide code reviews, and write tests for developed features. You will collaborate with company Architects, Directors, and the CTO on scaling solutions to support company growth, and coordinate with offshore teams to ensure quality deliverables.This is a full-time, salaried, 100% remote position headquartered in Herndon, VA. Candidate must reside within the Continental U.S. Eastern or Central time zones highly preferred.Technology Stack and Methodologies RequirementsExpertise with Microsoft technologies using C#Expertise in .Net CoreExperience with RDBMS – SQL Server / Entity FrameworkExperience with NoSQL databases – ElasticSearch / RedisExperience with RESTful APIs and MicroservicesProficiency with version control systems – Git, BitbucketExperience modernizing legacy codebasesExperience in production supportUnderstanding of architecture and loosely coupled applicationsKnowledge of development lifecycles and QA processes; TDD is a plusExperience working in a fast-paced Agile environmentRole RequirementsBachelor's Degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field; relevant professional experience also considered6+ years of designing and developing .Net applicationsExperience with enterprise application design, development, testing, and deploymentExperience collaborating with global Agile teamsAbility to understand and debug legacy systems independentlyProven ability to develop new solutions and improve existing applicationsStrong team-oriented mindset and mentoring skillsKnowledge of developing scalable solutionsCOMPENSATIONCompetitive salary based on experience.
