US - NY - 3 days in office

$170,000 - 200,000 base pay + up to 40% bonus

We are currently working with a leading multinational brokerage firm. Being pioneers in the space, they have office presence in 27 global locations, serving just under 2 million customers. They are recognized as a leader within the financial services industry and are looking to expand their team with a talented Senior GUI Developer! Responsibilities:

• Develop and and design high-performance Java GUI applications
• Stay up to date with relevant trends within GUI development
• Participate in the entire software development lifestyle, whilst working with other developers to deliver software solutions

Requirements:

• 5+ years of professional Java GUI development experience
• 5+ years of Java, JavaFX and Swing experience
• Computer Science degree
• Financial services or trading platform background is a huge plus!
• Experience with multithreading, network programming and software development patterns
