Join a dynamic team at the forefront of financial technology innovation. We're seeking a Senior Java Developer to help shape and build a next-generation trading platform for Fixed Income. You'll work closely with sales, traders, and quants to design high-performance APIs and scalable solutions that connect our bank with leading third-party trading platforms.

What You'll Do

• Develop high-quality, performant applications using Java 17
• Collaborate with Fixed Income traders, sales, and quants to design innovative trading solutions
• Build and extend APIs to integrate with external platforms like Bloomberg TOMS, MarketAxess, and Tradeweb
• Focus on non-functional requirements from day one to ensure maintainability, scalability, and reliability
• Continuously improve our CI/CD environment, development tooling, and release processes
• Contribute to architecture, design, development, and deployment of mission-critical trading applications

What We're Looking For

Must-Have Skills

• Strong fundamentals in Computer Science: concurrency, data structures, algorithms
• Expert-level Java skills (streams, lambdas, advanced concurrency, async/multithreaded development)
• Experience with distributed systems and profiling JVM applications
• Proficiency in tools like JConsole, JVisualVM, Elastic Stack, Prometheus, and OpenTracing
• Solid knowledge of CI/CD, test-driven development, and Agile/Scrum methodologies
• Proven track record of delivering full lifecycle applications — from inception to production

Bonus Skills

• Front-office investment banking or trading systems experience
• Knowledge of Bloomberg TOMS, Tradeweb, MarketAxess, or ION
• Familiarity with cloud-based deployments (e.g., EKS, Nomad, Docker, Kubernetes)
• Experience with gRPC, Kafka, Redis, and event-driven architectures
• Background in workflow automation, state management, and scheduling tools
