Summary

• Lead the design, maintenance, and optimization of enterprise GIS platforms (ArcMap, ArcFM, ArcGIS Server, ArcGIS Pro).
• Develop and execute performance test scripts using LoadRunner in Citrix environments to simulate real-world usage and identify system constraints.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (developers, DBAs, infrastructure engineers) to deliver reliable, high-performing GIS applications.
• Tune GIS system performance across application, database, and server layers; troubleshoot complex GIS issues impacting end-user experience.
• Drive development of custom GIS solutions and tools to support utility workflows and improve operational efficiency.
• Analyze performance metrics, system logs, and test results to generate actionable insights and recommendations.
• Manage upgrades, patches, and enhancements to GIS software and servers, ensuring minimal operational impact.
• Mentor junior team members and help establish best practices in system monitoring, testing, and GIS solution delivery.
• Document solutions, testing methodologies, outage recovery plans, and support procedures.
• Work in a hybrid environment, supporting essential electric and gas utility operations and ensuring system stability, responsiveness, and scalability.

• Lead the design, maintenance, and optimization of enterprise GIS platforms (ArcMap, ArcFM, ArcGIS Server, ArcGIS Pro).
• Develop and execute performance test scripts using LoadRunner in Citrix environments to simulate real-world usage and identify system constraints.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (developers, DBAs, infrastructure engineers) to deliver reliable, high-performing GIS applications.
• Tune GIS system performance across application, database, and server layers; troubleshoot complex GIS issues impacting end-user experience.
• Drive development of custom GIS solutions and tools to support utility workflows and improve operational efficiency.

Required

• 10+ years of GIS support/engineering experience, preferably in utilities (electric/gas/water).
• Expertise in ESRI ArcGIS (ArcMap, ArcGIS Pro, ArcGIS Server, ArcGIS Enterprise) and Schneider Electric ArcFM.
• Strong experience with LoadRunner or equivalent performance testing tools; performance tuning for GIS platforms and databases (SQL Server, Oracle).
• Proficiency in Python (ArcPy) for automation/testing.
• Excellent communication and mentoring skills; ability to work with minimal supervision and in Agile teams.

Nice To Have

• Experience with A/B testing, Oracle/MySQL administration, stress testing software, and Analysis for Office.
