Senior Indirect Buyer - DSJ Global : Job Details

Base pay range

$85,000.00/yr - $110,000.00/yr

Role Summary:

This Senior Indirect Buyer will serve as a sourcing leader and mentor for junior buyers in the non-production space, supporting departments such as IT, Sales & Marketing, and others. Leads sourcing strategies, major negotiations, and supplier development for U.S. operations, ensuring alignment with business goals and market trends.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead sourcing initiatives, including RFPs/RFQs, using the 7-step sourcing process
• Analyze cost structures and negotiate to achieve ideal pricing, not just budget targets.
• Align sourcing with business strategy, tracking market trends and identifying innovation opportunities.
• Build and manage strong supplier relationships; ensure fair treatment and performance communication.
• Validate supplier pricing, maintain accurate records, and forecast cost impacts.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, or related field.
• Certified Purchasing Professional (CPP) or CIPS Level 3.
• 4+ years of Indirect procurement experience
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and SAP Ariba.
• Strong interpersonal skills and executive presence.
