We are currently seeking a Senior IBM Datastage Developer - Engineer to join our team in Mahwah, New Jersey (US-NJ), United States (US).

Senior IBM DataStage Developer

We are looking for an experienced Senior IBM DataStage Engineer to join our dynamic and growing team. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in supporting clients' DataStage ETL application environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Troubleshoot and support production issues, analyze and fix Job failures and give permanent fix when possible.
  • Collaborate with client stakeholders and other teams including onshore and offshore.
  • Implement changes as per customer requirements.
  • Suggest improvements for better performance.
  • Resolve issues reported in lower environments.
  • Mentor junior team members.
  • Participate in code reviews.
  • Work independently while being part of a bigger team.

    • Preferred Skills and Qualifications:

  • At least 5+ years of applications development experience in IBM DataStage.
  • 5+ years of Linux Shell scripting experience.
  • 5+ years of working experience with SQL server.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Experience working in an onsite/offshore development environment.
  • A strong team player who is self-motivated, dependable, proactive, organized.
  • Attention to detail and data accuracy.
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.

    • Basic Qualifications:

    Minimum 5 years Data and Intelligence-ETL-IBM DataStage Application development experience.

    Will work on location in Mahwah, NJ.
