Senior I&C Engineer - Brown and Caldwell : Job Details

For the right candidate, this position offers the opportunity for significant professional growth and the potential to collaborate with local and national teams. Responsibilities include developing instrumentation and controls designs (specifications, wiring diagrams, P&IDs), conducting control system startups for industrial and municipal projects, and collaborating with client development teams to support proposal development. Candidates should have a proven track record in designing, testing, and starting up industrial control systems for municipal water/wastewater projects. The role requires integrating Brown and Caldwell's service offerings to solve clients' most challenging issues.

• B.S. in Electrical, Chemical, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
• PE license preferred.
• 15+ years of experience in control system design for water, wastewater, or industrial projects.
• Experience with industrial process automation, networking, and cybersecurity is a plus.
• Proficiency with Revit/BIM, AutoCAD, or Bentley P&ID.
• Knowledge of electrical safety standards (NFPA 70E).
• Effective communication skills.
• Self-starter, results-oriented, able to meet deadlines.
• Willingness to travel approximately 10%.
• Ability to interface effectively with clients and contractors.

The starting pay range varies by location:

• Location A: $118,000 - $161,000
• Location B: $130,000 - $177,000
• Location C: $142,000 - $194,000
