Position Summary The Senior Hospitality Manager is tasked with designing and overseeing exceptional visitor experiences that not only delight but also educate our guests while enhancing onsite engagement and conversions. This position includes the management of innovative winery programs, special events, and future culinary endeavors. The Senior Manager will promote a positive work culture by upholding Constellation Brands' core values, fostering open communication, and encouraging team involvement to boost morale and productivity.

Key responsibilities involve creating community outreach initiatives and building relationships with elite hospitality professionals in the region to drive traffic to the winery. The role also entails managing the promotion and sales of paid events, analyzing monthly business reports, and handling monthly financial processing. In addition, the Senior Manager will develop and oversee the trade hospitality budget, ensuring all departments adhere to financial targets while aligning the trade hospitality team with best-in-class practices alongside affiliated brand, sales, and PR teams.

You will implement protocols for service and event logistics, motivating and coaching a diverse team to achieve targets for wine club sign-ups, revenue, and profitability. This role also requires managing departmental reporting functions including accurate staff scheduling and payroll, while collaborating with brand marketing initiatives to support annual events such as product launches.

Your responsibilities will also include ensuring the hospitality environment remains clean, safe, and visually appealing at all times.

Responsibilities

  • Design and implement exceptional visitor programming that informs, entertains, and maximizes onsite conversions.
  • Lead the development and execution of innovative winery programs and events, alongside culinary and wine-related projects.
  • Foster a supportive work environment that aligns with Constellation Brands' values, encouraging teamwork and open dialogue.
  • Build strategic community outreach plans to attract guests by connecting with top-tier hospitality professionals to boost winery traffic.
  • Oversee the marketing and sales efforts related to paid events.
  • Analyze monthly business reports and ensure timely processing of monthly billing.
  • Develop and manage the hospitality budget, ensuring all departments operate within financial guidelines.
  • Align the trade hospitality team with industry best practices alongside brand, sales, and PR departments.
  • Implement service protocols for winery events and manage staffing logistics effectively.
  • Motivate and coach a large team to drive wine club sign-ups and achieve revenue and profit goals.
  • Oversee departmental reporting functions, including scheduling and payroll management.
  • Collaborate with brand marketing to support annual events and new product launches.
  • Ensure all hospitality areas remain clean, safe, and properly presented.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow through on tasks.
  • A passion for wine and culinary arts, coupled with a commitment to providing world-class guest experiences.
  • Proven ability to build and manage department budgets, forecasts, and financial reporting.
  • Excellent organizational and project management skills.
  • Understanding of wine and food service standards in delivering outstanding customer service.
  • Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, with knowledge of Reserve software and Adobe Publisher preferred.

Education/Experience

  • Minimum of 6 years' experience in luxury hospitality management.
  • WSET II or Introductory Certification from the Court of Master Sommelier preferred.
  • Bachelor's Degree, preferably in food service management or hospitality.
  • In-depth knowledge of elevated wine and food service standards and luxury presentation.

Preferred Qualifications

  • TIPS certification.
  • Food Service Manager certification.

Physical Requirements/Work Environment

  • Must be 21 years of age and possess a valid California driver's license.
  • Ability to walk and/or stand for extended periods.
  • Capacity to lift up to 50 lbs.

The salary range for this role is:

$94,400.00 - $144,600.00

This range reflects the lowest to highest salary we believe we would pay for this role at the time of posting. Compensation may vary based on labor costs, geographic market, qualifications, experience, and other relevant factors.
