SENIOR HEALTH EDUCATOR - 64084111 - STATE OF FLORIDA : Job Details

This is a highly responsible and independent position that serves as a Health Educator for Florida Department of Health in Osceola County. Incumbent is responsible for planning, implementing, and conducting health promotion and public health education programs, events, and activities to improve community health. Develop workplan(s) that align with the Agency Strategic priorities. Interprets, evaluate, and analyzes data from the Behavioral Risk Factor Surveillance System (BRFFS), Florida Community Health assessment Resource Tool Set (CHARTS), and other reliable sources to determine priorities areas and develop programs and participate in community outreach activities to achieve plan objectives. Conducts health promotion and public health education classes, workshops and trainings for agency personnel, schools, civic groups, and the public.
