We encourage you to step beyond your comfort zone, offering resources and flexibility to foster your professional and personal growth, all while valuing your unique contributions.Company: Siemens Healthcare Diagnostics, Inc.Location: 511 Benedict Ave., Tarrytown, NY 10591Position Title: Senior Global Supply Chain PlannerSalary: $123,780 - $162,190 / YearHours: Monday – Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, 40 Hours/ WeekSummary Of DutiesAnalyze the end-to-end POC Supply Chain Demand, Supply, and Inventory Plans to measure forecast performance and proactively identify and solve problems to profitably fulfill customer demand. Support the Global Sales & Operations Execution (S&OE) and Integrated Business Planning (IBP) processes to increase the visibility, drive improvements and efficiencies. Plan a portfolio of finished goods for moisture-sensitive devices (MSDs) with shelf life and expiration dates. Ensure timely placement of Purchase Orders to replenish Distribution Centers at minimum acceptable shelf life and service levels. Collaborate with Commercial Teams to support global demand forecasting, baseline statistical volume, and event-based campaign volume changes. Using supply chain management principles, data, and experience, solve complex supply chain problems, such as network volatility, multi echelon distribution requirements planning and allocation. Direct accountability for finished goods inventory health; develop mitigation strategies to reduce scrap of expired materials; and, when necessary, ensure the scrap process is executed per company policies. Collaborate with Distribution and Logistics to ensure proper planning parameters are applied, execution is monitored, and new requirements are effectively implemented. Influence and collaborate with Plant Materials Management to support the Capacity Planning of operational resources (materials, tools, equipment, labor) to ensure demand and supply alignment. Collaborate with IT to develop, validate and interrupt data into information and alerts to ensure visibility of the global supply chain network and key performance measures. Identify and solve issues within delegated level of authority and escalate to Senior Leadership when necessary. Apply principles of the Healthineers' Performance System to drive continuous improvement, employee engagement, and organizational learning; core methods will include Hoshin Kanri, Value Stream Mapping, Structured Problem Solving, Visual Management, and Coaching. Contribute to the continuously improving education platform that provides best practice training in Global Supply Chain Planning. Remote work permitted.QualificationsThe position requires a Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Logistics, Operations Management, or a related field and five (5) years of experience in the job offered or in Procurement, Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, or an acceptable alternate occupation.The position requires five (5) years of experience with the following skills: SAP Materials Management (MM), Sales and Distribution (SD) and Production Planning (PP);Data Analytics; Power BI; Qlik; Advanced Excel Skills; Presenting quantitative information to Executives; Demand Forecasting; Statistical Modeling; Supply Chain Optimization; Forecast Accuracy Metrics; Project Management; Change Management; Technology Implementation; Sourcing, Manufacturing, and Distribution; FDA-regulated products and processes. The position requires two (2) years of experience with Kinaxis. Must have experience with allocation, batch tracking and planning for shelf-life expiration; and First-expire, first-out (FEFO).
