As a remote-first team of five developers, we're backed by top-tier investors and trusted by labs across the U.S. Our mission is to accelerate scientific progress, from detecting foodborne pathogens to advancing molecular diagnostics.We're seeking a Senior Frontend Engineer to lead our frontend architecture and drive a groundbreaking Embedded Analytics project. This role is about more than codingit's about shaping a platform that impacts science, health, and safety. You'll define our frontend philosophy, build a unified design system, mentor engineers, and collaborate with design and product teams to create scalable, user-friendly UI systems.Key Responsibilities:Architect scalable, maintainable frontend systems using ReactDevelop and implement a design system with reusable components, tokens, and clear documentationLead the frontend development of a new Embedded Analytics initiativeCreate onboarding documentation and promote best practices in testing, performance, and accessibilityMentor engineers and establish high standards for frontend qualityCollaborate with design and product teams to deliver production-ready experiencesRequired Qualifications:5+ years of experience in modern frontend development (React, HTML/CSS, JavaScript)Expertise in building and maintaining large-scale frontend systems and reusable component librariesDeep understanding of architecture patterns, state management, and performance optimizationStrong communication and mentoring skillsProactive problem-solving and ownership mindsetExtensive experience with Tailwind CSS, including utility-first design principles, responsive layouts, and semantic, accessible HTMLProven ability to implement or contribute to Tailwind-based component libraries and maintain consistency across large codebasesQualifications:Experience building or evolving a design system from the ground upBackground in modernizing frontend codebasesFamiliarity with visual regression testing, Figma integration, or analytics-heavy interfacesExperience with B2B SaaS or enterprise toolsWhat We Offer:Salary Range: $95,000 - $125,000/year, based on experience and locationVariable Pay: Up to $9,500/year, tied to product and architectural milestonesRemote-first culture with flexible hoursCollaborative, feedback-driven work environment with a focus on sustainable growthComprehensive health, dental, and vision benefits (U.S.-based employees)Learning & development stipend to support your growth#J-18808-Ljbffr
