Job Description :

Red Arch Solutions is seeking a Senior Front-End Software Developer in Annapolis Junction, MD, on a high-priority contract to lead the development, integration, and maintenance of dynamic web-based applications. This role involves working with cross-functional teams to design innovative solutions, troubleshoot complex software issues, and enhance the organization's web presence. The ideal candidate will be able to work independently on complex projects and have deep knowledge of current web technologies, programming languages, and development methodologies.

This position offers up to 16 hours of telework per week.

Required Qualifications:
  • TS/SCI with Polygraph
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant technical discipline from an accredited college or university, plus eight (8) years of experience with front-end web development in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity.
  • Alternatively, twelve (12) years of total experience with front-end web development may substitute for a bachelor's degree.
  • Proficient in coding websites using HTML, Visual Basic, or other web-based programming languages.
  • Experience supporting website planning, deployment, and implementation.
  • Ability to write and maintain comprehensive technical documentation for websites.
  • Strong background in developing, testing, maintaining, and supporting high-performance web applications.
  • Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot complex software problems and provide effective solutions.
  • Experience collaborating with management and IT teams to define web project specifications.
  • Proficient in using various internet technologies, tools, and techniques including graphics software, object-oriented programming languages (e.g., Java, CGI, Visual Basic, HTML, XML), and web development tools.
  • Ability to co-develop and maintain scalable web-based applications with lead developers.
  • Strong analytical skills to identify and resolve complex software issues.
  • Proven ability to work independently on complex development projects.
  • Experience integrating new web features with existing systems to improve performance and design.

    • Salary range for this position: $183,000 - $187,000. The Red Arch Solutions pay range is a general guideline and not a guarantee of salary. Official compensation depends on various factors including job responsibilities, location, experience, education, and organizational requirements.
